Information We Collect
When you purchase a PlanifyHer product or use our site, we collect:
- Your name and email address (for order confirmation and product delivery).
- Payment information, processed securely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
- Your email address when you subscribe to our newsletter via Beehiiv.
- If you connect a Pinterest account to PlanifyHer, the limited Pinterest data described below, and only after you explicitly authorize it.
How We Use Information
We use your information to deliver your digital product and order confirmation, to provide customer support, to send our newsletter if you’ve opted in (unsubscribe anytime), to improve our products and website, and — where you’ve connected Pinterest — to power the Pinterest-related features you’ve enabled, such as content planning, reporting, and optional publishing.
Pinterest API Data
PlanifyHer may integrate with the Pinterest API to help you plan and manage your own Pinterest presence. We only access Pinterest data when you explicitly connect your Pinterest account and grant authorization through Pinterest’s own login and permission flow. Depending on the permissions you approve, this may include:
- Reading your own boards and pins, so we can display and help you organize your content.
- Reporting and analytics data about your own pins and boards, so we can show you performance insights.
- Content planning information, such as scheduling drafts you create within PlanifyHer.
- Optional publishing or scheduling of pins on your behalf, but only if you specifically enable this feature.
We do not access Pinterest data beyond what is required for the specific features you use, and we never post, edit, or delete anything on your Pinterest account unless you have turned on optional publishing/scheduling.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with the trusted service providers that help us operate PlanifyHer, and only as needed to provide our services:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Beehiiv — email newsletter.
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Pinterest — only for the account you connect, and only under Pinterest’s own privacy policy and API terms.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Data Retention
We keep order and account information for as long as needed to provide support, meet accounting and legal obligations, and maintain your newsletter subscription. Pinterest data accessed via the API is retained only for as long as needed to provide the feature you’ve enabled (for example, showing recent reporting), and is deleted or refreshed on an ongoing basis rather than stored indefinitely. If you disconnect Pinterest or request deletion, we remove any Pinterest data we hold for your account.
User Choices and Revoking Access
You’re always in control of what you share with us:
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any email.
- Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us below.
- Revoke PlanifyHer’s access to your Pinterest account at any time, either from within PlanifyHer’s account settings or directly from your Pinterest account (Pinterest Settings → Apps and Websites → Manage). Revoking access immediately stops PlanifyHer from reading or publishing any further data.
Security
Payment data is encrypted and handled by Stripe, a PCI-compliant processor — we do not store credit card information on our servers. Pinterest access is handled via secure OAuth authorization, and we never see or store your Pinterest password. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we do hold.
Children’s Privacy
PlanifyHer products are designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page.
